Medo air pumps are manufactured in Japan and have been adapted from the medical industry. The air pumped using a pair of Tephlon pistons (no diaphragms!) into a resevoir in the base of the unit. This means it is possible to push air from an airstone at greater depth without risk of damage to the components.

This Medo Air Pump range features a unique design, utilising a piston instead of a diaphragm. This will increase the lifespan of the pump.
